I love traveling! I love flying through the heavens and marveling at the beauty of the clouds and the vastness of this great planet! I love seeing new places and visiting local and international cities and villages, and basking in God's grandeur and awesomeness (is that even a word?) in nature and in His people. I also love mission work, and ever since my first mission trip experience in 2009, I have loved being able to do both at the same time!
I am currently on a planning team for an overseas mission to Pokot, Kenya. We have teamed up with two well-known organizations (World Vision Kenya and ALIVE Kenya) and the local Seventh-day Adventist church for this mission trip. Some of our team members are from Kenya, and because of the lack of proper medical care in the area, have a burden to fulfill that need. Because of this, we are planning a medical mission trip in July 2014 and we need your help! We are in need of medical professionals (doctors, nurses, etc), non-medical missionaries and people experienced with children for our VBS program.
We are also in need of donations. 100% will go to the mission trip, and the purchasing of all the medications, clinical needs, VBS materials, transportation and missionary needs while on the mission.
This is not just a one-time-mission.
Besides this mission trip, we have set long-term goals that we will be implementing once we are on the ground. To learn more about the project, to donate, or to apply, please click here.
Thank you so much (Asante sana!)
