PreachFest - Unlimited Faith, Courage & Possibilities

I was approached....

I was asked to be one of the speakers at my church community's 2015 Young Adult PreachFest! It will be taking place at the First Seventh-day Adventist Church of White Plains on Saturday evening (4/11/2015) at 5:30pm. I cannot recall ever attending a preachfest before, but I know what it entails. It's a convocation with multiple speakers but who all speak on the same topic. The messages are shorter and more concise (than a regular sermon), and the speakers usually present right after each other.
 

This is a very solemn proposal and I do not take it likely (nor should it be taken likely). The beautiful thing about sharing a message from The LORD is that you never have to do it alone; The LORD Himself will give you the strength and the words to speak (if you ask Him!). Yes, I am giving Christ the figurative pen and paper to do all the work; I will just be His mouthpiece.

The theme for the evening is "Unlimited Faith, Courage and Possibilities". With such a powerful title, many different thoughts and biblical images come to mind, but I don't want to spoil the surprise ;-) you will just have to head over to the church to hear what will be shared.

Please pray for the speakers and for those who will be in attendance to hear God's messages. I am excited, but very pensive. Please pray that we all may be hearers of God's word, and doers also.
