It's been quite a busy few weeks for me; between planning for the wedding, apartment-shopping, filming for The Last Call evangelistic series and planning for the next Pokot/VUNA mision trip, I am pretty much swamped.
BUT, I still make sure to take breaks from everything :-)
During one of my down-times, I got word that I had a relative that just played in the 2016 Super-Bowl. I was surprised about this, and didn't believe, but I did look up the player (Ryan Delaire from the Carolina Panthers) and sure enough, I could see some resemblance (lol) I kid you not. Upon further investigation, I found out we are indeed related, but that's about it. I won't be reaching out to him, but it did get me thinking...it's a small world after all!
I have known this many times over, but I keep being reminded of it. Although there are mannny countries and towns we may never visit, we are all only separated by a few people and can ultimately find some connection between all of us. In times past, there was a theory that said we are all connected to each other by six degrees of separation, and perhaps this may be true (I don't know), but what I do know is that we are all indeed related as one blood flows through all of our veins.
One blood.
One body.
One humanity.
It's a shame however, we are more separated than united :-(
...just thoughts upon my head...
