Summer's gone, Autumn and The Presidential Election is here!

The summer came and went with a blink of an eye it seems; so now we are in autumn and it brings along it's colder mornings, shorter days and wetter afternoons.

Besides these seasonal characteristics, this autumn will also host the U.S. Presidential election. This is not like any other Presidential election before; this will be one of the most interesting/insane/frightful/_____ (insert whatever other word you can think about) elections EVER! Both contenders are the most unlikely candidates you would think would even reach this far: Donald Trump and Hilary Rodham Clinton. If you haven't started praying yet, may I suggest start praying now.

Like the falling leaves of this season; this political season may seem dreary and dismal, but we still have an Almighty Father who is in charge. There are no emergencies in heaven, no matter who wins, The LORD will still reign supreme over the greatest (and not-so-greatest) of all the world leaders. Don't lose heart, God is still in control.

Bundle up, enjoy this colorful season and hold on...it's going to be a very interesting November and future.

The Fall Is Upon Us

The end of September always reminds me of a couple of things:

1) My birthday has passed :-( {sad, yes, I know}

2) Fall is officially here!

Spring and Fall are the two most colorful seasons in the temperate climate! Besides the flowers budding and the leaves flowering, Fall (or Autumn) is also the season where the leaves start changing and the landscape becomes bathed in shades of orange, brown, red and deep purples.

This week, however, we are being graced with another visitor: a hurricane?! Yes Hurricane Joaquin has been gaining momentum in the last few days. This (once called a tropical storm) is now a Category 2 storm as I type. It is due to hit The Bahamas later this evening and may make landfall on the Northern sea coasts of the U.S. by tomorrow. All eyes are on her - it's quite interesting to have this type of weather in the Fall, but this seems like it will be the norm.

It's been a very interesting few days. The BIG Papal visit has come and gone (will be writing a blog on that one soon), major Jewish HolyDays have just passed, the beauuutiful 'blood'/lunar eclipse has just passed as well, and this year seems more bend on being one for the record books than last year.

It is quite an interesting time we are living in, nothing surprising however, The Word all foretold it.

Let's continue studying and searching The Holy Scriptures daily. It's the best library of Books we should be 'Falling' for. (I couldn't help it ;-) )
